Dump Mini-Truck Suzuki Carry inspect. Undercarriage wash adjust carb, throttle air box (Part 31)

Dump Mini-Truck Suzuki Carry inspect. Undercarriage wash adjust carb, throttle air box (Part 31)

Finally got to take a good look at the Carry Dump. This one is a 1994 DD15B Dump wth rear axle lock, shouldn’t be that bad, a little welding and painting etc… He is going to be a work truck anyways, just want him solid and running good.
Tested out my undercarriage wash ( worked GREAT. My electric pressure washer ran it perfectly ( I also put the SunF tires on with the universal rims!
I still need a name for this guy! Help a butha out.

This is a 1994 Suzuki Carry with Dump and rear axle lock.
Researching online I did find l lot of new information, but Amir explains a LOT more than I knew, he has been in the business for 15 years. Plus if Bubbles in Trailer Park Boys has one, it HAS to be cool!
Don’t forget you’re buying a used vehicle, check it all out, they’re over 25 years old! Some are in much better shape than others. Check for leaks, CV boots ripped, Loose suspension, Clutch slippage, clunks etc. Just like any used vehicle

I know there may be other videos of this.. but this is my Cheezy style!

Due to changing products, links, etc, If you want the most recent product links (if these are no good), go to www.motocheez.com and click the section you’re looking for (upper right) and scroll down the page for the item.
This keeps the links for all the parts more accurate. These I use and install on ALL my videos. I do not sell any of the items listed. (except T-shirts and key tags.. HURRY UP AND BUY!)

Mini Truck mini series, 3 inch lift? 23 inch tires, Test on road off-road HiJet (Part 3)

Lift install is at 2:10 mark
Tire road test is at 7:30 mark
tire off-road test at 13:56 mark
Against everything I read on the internet, I decided to TRY and install a 3” lift. Although I COULD have gotten it in there, if the strut extended all the way while offroading it would ABSOLUTELY break an axle. DO NOT DO 3” LIFT. So I took that off and just put the 23” aggressive mud tires, no lift needed YET and I ordered another lift that is 2”. hoping to get this up to a side by side SXS UTV status!
I do a test of the new tires, offroad, rock climb articulation, hill climb, mountain and mud. Does really good!
I ordered a CV boot too, mine was ripped so I showed my way of making it hold dirt out a little longer…
Dihatzu Hijet (translates to midget in Japanese) Climber Mini-truck, this one is a 1992, 7th Gen, S83P, 660cc Minitruck. The “climber” means it has rear axle lock. Amir has about 60 units in stock, he was very helpful.

More info (Wikipedia):
The Daihatsu Hijet (Japanese: ダイハツハイゼット) is a cabover microvan and pickup truck produced and sold by the Japanese automaker Daihatsu since 1960. Despite the similarities between the Hijet name and Toyota’s naming scheme for its trucks and vans (Hiace and Hilux), the name “Hijet” has been in use for Daihatsu’s Kei trucks and Microvans since 1960, over two decades before Toyota took control. “Hijet”, when transliterated into Japanese, is very similar to “Midget”, one of Daihatsu’s other mini-trucks. The Hijet competes in Japan with the Honda Acty, Subaru Sambar, Mitsubishi Minicab, Suzuki Carry and the Nissan Clipper.

I’ve seen some people go though all the trouble of removing the axles to replace a seal but I figure if you’ve gone that far for the price of a bearing you may as well toss a new one in with it.
one way to tell if your axle seal is leaking is oil coming from the drums when the drum is removed you will seal oil leaking around the seal. Using a axle bearing remover and a slide hammer that bearing will come out in a matter of seconds. if you have a bad axle bearing you should be able to hear some rear end noise while driving. anyways it’s beer time
