Why You Shouldn’t Buy The Cheapest Brake Pads For Your Car
5 Different Brake Pads, ranging from $20 to OE, undergo four tests.
Sponsored By NRS Brakes –
What are the best brake pads? Are expensive brake pads better than cheaper brake pads? Are cheap brake pads dangerous? In this video, we’ll compare brake pads ranging from $20 to $90, all for the front brake pads on the exact same vehicle. Performance testing will compare how the brake pads do when they experience high temperatures. Corrosion testing will determine how well the pads resist rust in harsh winter conditions. Shear testing will see how well the friction material is attached the the backing plate. Finally, noise testing will determine which brake pads are the quietest.
When you walk into a parts store, you’ll often see different tiers of brake pad prices. This video’s goal is to determine if you get what you’re paying for with those different brake pads. Five different pads will be tested. $20, $40, $60, NRS, and original equipment pads for the same car will all undergo the same tests described above, using industry standardized tests. Watch the video to see how differently priced brake pads perform!

NEW VIDEO EVERY WEDNESDAY!
On this episode I detail the new fine that was handed out by the EPA to Perfomance Diesel Inc for 1.1 million dollars and what that means for the tuning industry as a whole. The EPA has also started a task force called the National Compliance Initiative: Stopping Aftermarket Defeat Devices for Vehicles and Engines
The sole purpose of this task force is: This NCI will focus on stopping the manufacture, sale, and installation of defeat devices on vehicles and engines used on public roads as well as on nonroad vehicles and engines.
So, basically any tuning on your vehicle (gas or diesel) must be 50 state legal. It does not matter if the vehicle in question is an offroad or race vehicle. It still must remain emissions compliant. The way all of this information is worded it does not matter if your vehicle is gas or diesel. The factory tuning or 50 state (CARB) tuning must be used in the vehicle. Where this situation gets interesting is when you look at truck and tractor pulls. Most of those engines are some type of Cummins, Powerstroke, or Duramax. Even competition vehicles cannot be deleted or roll coal.
You can read the information right off the EPA’s website here:

Amazon Link AC Relays (Toyota) –
If your A/C compressor clutch won’t engage because the refrigerant is too low, then you can jump the 30 and 87 pins to get the Clutch Engage. Make sure you are prepared to immediately fill the refrigerant, or shut off the engine and prepare after seeing this works to engage the AC clutch. Because you do not want to damage the compressor by turning it on too long without Refrigerant.
Removed old broken pop out supports and welded on these new heavy duty stabilizers. Fabricated a new cross bean for support and a solid place to weld the stabilizer to.
