Q:What camera do you use?
A: I use the Go Pro Hero 6 Black Edition
Q: Why don’t you have a rotator?
A: Simply said, our wide open desert highways here in Indio do not require a rotator. Most scenarios allow us to drive the truck right down to the wreckage and perform our recovery without taking up any more lane than a rotator would. Another simple reason is price. They are very expensive trucks that, once again aren’t really needed here. With that being said, that doesn’t mean we will never get one just not at the moment.
About This Video:
In this video I will show how much it will cost to fill up a semi truck. How much a semi truck fuel cost to fill up. Also show you onboard screen at the pump, what is involved in getting the pump turned on. Also will teach you what a reefer cooling trailer does and why we use it.
Subscribe now to make sure you’re in on all the action!
Show you the temperature on the reefer cooling trailer. Set at -10 for pies. Show you what drive tires this tractor uses. A view of the day cab. Tell you about how to earn points which turns in dollars. For each gallon you gain 1 cent. For every 50 gallon you pump for gain a “FREE” shower. Which is great for the over the road truckers.
I will describe a little bit about the trucker life, what we do and how we help others when in need. When everyone is sleeping, we are out on the road delivery products to customers. How much is cost to fuel up a semi truck.
Truckers have a split personality in the public imagination: They’re either invisible knights of the highway known to be ever ready to lend a hand to a stranded motorist, or solidarity-seeking union protesters who block highways, traveling in speeding packs. What’s indisputable is the degree to which the U.S. economy relies on the semi truck.
We don’t spend much time thinking about truckers, which is strange considering that everything we eat, wear, and plug into our walls was at one point entrusted to their care.
Many carriers pay a surcharge when the national average price for a gallon of diesel, often $1.10 to $1.25.
Some owner-operators make a healthy per-mile profit from their carriers’ surcharge because good fuel economy practices allow them to average better than 6 mpg.
This can be a double-edged sword with customers; the same company that will pay extra for loads traveling only in Western states might ask for a discount on trips in other areas. For examples of surcharges along specific lanes, visit fuelsurchargeindex.org.
