  1. I like the masks. Except a one thing. You should never paint sight ring on oiled hub covers. It's actually on you if you paint job prohibited the checking of hub oil causing the loss of a wheel from bearing burn off (up to and including involuntary manslaughter in the event a wheel that fell of strikes another car). I think I would personally use the masks with the wheel and tire assemblies removed from the axle. Primarily axles that have oiled hub covers with sight rings, or mask the hub cover.

  2. This video shows the correct way to use Tire Mask kits on front + rear, large + small, and steel + alum. wheels for a clean professional look. Notice the drastic difference from "before" and "after". This is the new standard in wheel painting.
