Fixing a few holes in my aluminum radiator with Stic-Tite. Stic-Tite is a plastic string that works like solder. Heat the aluminum with a propane torch and feed in the Stic-Tite just like solder. It will melt and fill in the hole. The plastic will stick to the aluminum and seal up any leaks.

  1. Thanks for posting this, well done. It must have been a bit tricky trying to heat one row while not over heating and melting the plastic next to the row your working on. Glad it came out nice. Is the repair still holding?

  2. Could you please TRY and pronounce the words properly as it becomes difficult
to know what you are saying.

It is not DEBRIS as you put it,it is DEBRI even with the " S " on the end.
It is not SODDERING as there is an " L " in the word like SOLD . So it is SOLDERING.

It will help if you can remember. Thank You. : )

  3. i took my mishimoto radiator to get welded and turns out the guy used this stuff. it didn't hold up so i took it back to him twice. now it's leaking again. i took it to 2 other guys who are now telling me that the aluminum is contaminated thanks to this product and that i have to get a new radiator now. id avoid this material if anyone has am expensive radiator
